  A new Palm Beach center console boat rigged with twin 90hp outboards proves itself worthy of well planned offshore bank runs. However after one too many drenchings it was obvious that the small open boat when pushed to its limits was lacking in the "dry run" area. Something had to be done......

Boat Undergoes Changes in Superstructure

 

  I opted to modify from an open boat to a three sided dual console hardtop version. One lost season and more hours than I care to remember resulted in a configuration that far exceeded my expectations. Enter...  The "Worlds Smallest Express"

  The absence of the center console revealed generous deck space seemingly only found on craft of larger dimensions. The three sided EZ-Glass enclosure provided a niche to support a well thought out array of electronics that would otherwise be impossible. Added weight combined with the shift in the center of gravity was a welcome byproduct that lent itself to an amazing improvement in ride and handling characteristics.     Reel Karma is born.....
